Bonjour.  My name is Bastian.  I am a 10 year old, 115lb Bull Mastiff.  I am just a sweetheart of a guy – I mean, that’s what hear people saying about me…  I am house trained.  I am too large for a crate and I don’t need one.  I am looking for a foster family or forever family.  I am a gentle guy.  I do have issues walking due to arthritis and muscle atrophy.  I don’t require walks, except around the backyard to keep my joints moving.  I enjoy hanging outside when it’s nice outside but I am NOT an outside dog.  I love other dogs, but tend to want to nip at them just a bit when I first meet them.  I am getting PT currently to try to increase the muscle strength in my legs.  My bloodwork is great, and nothing else is a problem, except my legs.  I understand they are going to try to get me to swim for exercise.  I am not sure how that will go, but we can give it a try.  I do want to be able to move better.  If you love big dogs, I am your guy.  I am very easy.  I am a good DVD watcher and I will listen to all that you have to say as long as you allow me to lay next to you (and sometimes drool).  I am looking for a fabulous foster family or a fantastic forever family of my very own.  If you have any questions, email lizzyshospice@gmail.com.  I hope to meet you soon.
