Hi there. I'm Maven. I am 9 years old and I weigh around 7lbs. I am a Chihuahua mix. Now that we're done with the formalities, let's talk about the fun stuff. I am a whole lot of fun. I am a great apartment dog because I am quiet as a church mouse. Even my bark is quiet (I may have had my vocal cords shaved, I don't remember). I love to hang out with pups my size. I don't even mind cats... I ride great in the car and love to go for walks in a stroller or even in a backpack if you're a family that likes to hike.

I am not difficult to take care of, but there are some things that you need to know. I can walk, but most of the time I forget and drag my back legs.... until I am told to walk or I am put in a position where I can walk. I have a bullet in my back that cannot be removed, but it doesn't hurt. The more I walk, the stronger my legs get. Walking is done solely by muscle memory, which is why it is so important for me to walk as much as I can. I also have wheels that I absolutely love. I need my bladder expressed once a day to make sure all of the pee is out. Otherwise, I could get a bladder infection.

Once a routine on how to care for me has been created, life is good and easy. I am looking for a forever family or my very own.
