Hello, my name is Peppa. I am a 12lb, 12 year old Chihuahua and Mint is a 9lb, 12 yr old Chihuahua. Our person found themselves in a tough spot so decided to do what was best for us, and find a rescue that can give us a better, more stable, life. We miss them, but appreciate that they put us first. We a bit shy in new places, and are so glad we have each other. We are doing really well with house training.. We love to sit on laps to be petted. We do well with other dogs, we just keep to ourselves. We do love a howl-fest every once in a while. We love to go for walks and ride great in the car. We just got fully vaccinated, neutered, and had a dental. I am heartworm negative, but Mint is heartworm positive. We would love to find a foster family or our very own forever family and get comfortable before Mint starts his heartworm treatment in a month. Lizzy’s pays for the heartworm treatment, no matter if we are in foster or with our forever family. We are easy pups to care for and to love…. And we return the love ten-fold. Foster to adopt may be a good option, also. We look forward to meeting you soon.
